COMMUNITY CATS
They belong to no one and to everyone. We know them as strays, dumped, porch cats, barn cats, free-roaming, ferals, wild cats.
Some are friendlier than others, and some admire humans only from a distance. We don’t choose them, they choose us. And we love them. Just as they are.
But, we’d prefer not to have any more. They are a primary contributor to the homeless cat population.
Let's do something compassionate about it.
Enter TNVR. TNVR stands for Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return.
Most community cats have to be humanely trapped because they're not completely comfortable with humans.
They are taken to a veterinarian to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and given any other needed critical care. They recover overnight and then are released back into the colony or location where they are most comfortable.
But, it takes a village. How we can help?
If you have a situation where you think it would be best to trap the animal to get it care, please contact us.
